The most recognized Latin artist & Cuban rapper in Finland, originally from Cuba.

Norlan "El Misionario" was born and raised in the ghettos of Havana, Cuba. Norlan became to known in his country and around the world as a Cuban hip hop pioneer who is not afraid of testing limits. Norlan’s first project before he started his solo career and to play as dj was a highly respected cuban hip hop group called: Alto Voltaje, which he founded 1996.

In 2005 Norlan started his solo career in Europe. He was the first to bring reggaeton music to Finland and has being carrying ever since proudly his artistical nick name "El Misionario" meaning the missionary. He released his solo debut album "El Misionario" 2007.

In 2008 Norlan won the title of the Best band at the international Ourvision song contest in Helsinki, and soon after he signed a record deal with Comrade Publishing. From his second album "El Bombaso" the first single "Sauna Caliente" went immediately number 2 on the Finnish charts and stayed there for almost 10 weeks. Also the remix of the "Sauna caliente" song went number 1 in 2009 at Pepsi Max charts right after it was released.

At the moment Norlan is preparing his 3rd album. He has released already 3 singles from the album. The 4th single "Barbershop" along side with the official music video was released in end of April 2014.

Norlan has toured around Cuba, Finland & Europe and shared the stage with big stars such as: Pitbull, Akon, Sean Kingston, Fat Joe & Nina Sky, Black Star, The Roots, Mos Def, Brick & Lace, Montel Jordan, Vico C, Don Chezina, Tony Touch, Guanabanas & Common to name a few.
