Beatwave Festival

Beatwave, Rytmiaalto, is a summer festival series at mbar for the third summer in a row. Each edition focuses on a particular music genre and offers both emerging and classic line-ups with live and dj sets.

Each Beatwave Festival introduces fresh Finnish and international acts within a particular genre ranging from organic sound to electronic music subgenres to hip hop and roots. First weekend of June, July and August on mbar terrace will both entertain and expand horizons. Come and enjoy!

Previous Beatwave Festivals introduced the contemporary Lavatanssit phenomenon. Summer of 2012 highlights include Live sets by Eternal Erection, Jätkäjätkät, Nieminen & Litmanen, TV OFF, Puppa J, Roberto Rodriguez & Jori Hulkkonen, Zhava, Meissa Niang & Diambaar Band & Zentex.
