Bassline Festival takes place in Sinebrychoff park, on the Kiasma lawn, Hietalahti market square and mbar terrace. This outdoor picnic treat is loaded with bands and djs.
The seventh annual Bassline Festival is a new urban festival which is proactive in urban music, youth culture and Finnish design. The three day free-of-charge festival is spread around Helsinki city center 11.-13.7.14.
The festival consist of a concert at Sinebrychoff park, a Designmarket at Lasipalatsi square, six evening events at Namu and three at Mbar with both national and international top artists.
Friday June 11th Bassline festival presents Cosmic Touch-club at Mbar terrace with a wide variety of electronic music. Monitor 66 (SWE), Bright Shades, Hemo DJs and Jesse Oliver & Jay Lamar will be providing you a groovy night.
Saturday June 12th is the annual concert at Sinebrychoff park. Bring your friends with you and enjoy the relaxed vibe of Sinebrychoff park. The headlines consist of a wide range of Finnish artists.
Performers include artists such as Kasmir with his summer hit ”Vadelmavene” which has sold gold, Lieminen known for his youtube hit song ”Tääl on Lieminen”, rap-group Gasellit, Chebaleba, The Flamtastics and the rising young artists of Bass Camp. The after party is at Mbar terrace with High Hopes concept and at Namu.
On Sunday June 13th the Lasipalatsi square is filled with bloggers and designers when Bassline Festival Designmarket starts at noon. At the Designmarket Finnish favorite bloggers are having a flea-market and Finnish designers sell their products. The background music is provided from the Mbar terrace., where you can stop by for a drink after shopping. Later in the evening Bassline Festival-Cassette club where the extraordinary Awesome Tapes From Africa (UK) will be playing.
