Defence

January Defence introduces the Breathe crew. This Helsinki-based Drum & Bass trio's been arranging club nights for a good while now and at mbar the crew will showcase the sounds and styles they're about. Good vibes and big bass guaranteed.

Drum & Bass three-piece was first founded when members Anne Karoliina and Jesse Mach met while competing against each for a slot in a local Drum & Bass event in Helsinki. Since then Breathe has left it's mark to the finnish Drum & Bass scene. In a year they've had over 50 gigs, organized two own clubs (Breathe & Ingredients) and played actively in different events all around Finland.

These days the core of Breathe is Jesse Mach, Anne Karoliina and Snapo. The collective plays mostly Drum & Bass ranging from dark Techstep, energetic Neurofunk and classic Liquid.
