Acoustic Tuesday

Skip Zone, Alex Siegel (US)

Starting the fall season we have two visitors. Skip Zone is a six piece folk, alt. country and americana inspired outfit from Helsinki. Alex Siegel is a folk influenced traveller-singer-songwriter originally from Los Angeles, California.

Skip Zone started out as a group of friends playing Neil Young together but evolved into an interesting band with their own songs after their guitarist tried out writing an albums worth of songs to play. Their self-titled album was released in August 2012 and their recent EP "Black Country" was released in March 2013.

Alex Siegel is a professional guitarist and a self-taught singer. Having written songs just a couple of years he started to find his voice during his travels getting help from a Finnish sound enthusiast and sound engineer at Vostok Studios.

The Acoustic Tuesday Host Iku will provide vinyl based entertainment between the shows.

This event is part of the Acoustic Tuesday club series
